The rental car companies in Slovakia can only guarantee a certain type of car, not an exact make or model. Car rental companies have cars from many different brands in the same category. These cars should have the same features that were confirmed at the time of the reservation. Here is an explanation of the various car classes:

Car rental models

You may be able to reserve a specific model in some cases. You will notice a special note next to the vehicle in the search results if such a possibility exists.

Choose a car based on what you want to do on your trip. Small cars like the Opel Corsa or Audi A1 can be used to get around the city and its surroundings.
The Mercedes C Class is the most popular car in the Standard category. Its starting price is 22$ per day from EAST COAST, and its rating average is 9 based on more than 1000 customer reviews. VW Tiguan from EUROPCAR is the most reasonably priced rental vehicle in Slovakia. Just 28$ per day is the cost.
Most of the rental cars in Slovakia are manual. Automatic cars cost more to rent, and if your license only lets you drive an automatic car, you won't be able to rent a stick shift car.

Traveling by car lets you explore at your own pace. It's nice to be able to avoid congested bus or rail schedules and travel early or late.

Even if you caused the damage, third-party insurance is usually included in the rental price. This insurance does not cover car or driver damage.
Many base contracts include a large deductible (damages not insured by the rental provider). If you cause an accident, you must pay the contract's deductible to repair the rental car. You can add extra insurance to your rental to cover car damage. Did you know that some banks cover you when traveling if you used your card to pay?

Prices can vary based on the company, the season, and the vehicle, but most locations offer discounts if you reserve a car prior to your arrival in Slovakia. The cheapest automatic cars cost from 14$ to 28$ per day. Larger cars can be more expensive due to their higher fuel consumption, so you may want to choose a smaller vehicle, which will also be advantageous on narrower roads.
There is always an increase in demand for car rentals in Slovakia during the summer months, which drives up the prices. During the off-season, particularly the winter, the prices are significantly lower. The duration of your rental also affects the total price. Typically, renting a vehicle for a longer period of time results in a lower daily rate, thus a five-day rental may cost only somewhat more than a three-day rental. If possible, consider spending at least a week exploring Slovakia.
