Plan your adventurous road-trip in Australia

Australia is a country where you can have so many adventurous road trips. It is not difficult to plan an adventurous road trip in Australia because it has all the best natural destinations that you can only find there and there are lots of rental cars in Australia available. If you are planning for an adventurous road trip in Australia, then you have come to the right place!

We will give you some tips on how to plan and execute an adventurous road trip in Australia.

Sydney

If you're looking for adventure and excitement, Sydney is the place to go. It is worth to start your road trip around Australia with car rental at the Sidney Airport. With a population of over 4 million people and plenty of things to do, it's no wonder why Sydney was voted as one of the top 10 cities in the world by Lonely Planet in 2016!

Sydney is also known as "The Harbour City" because it sits on Port Jackson--home to some of Australia's most beautiful beaches. If you want to explore more than just downtown Sydney, there are plenty of places nearby where you can hike or camp overnight under stars that look like they came from another planet (I'm talking about their brightness).

Byron Bay and the surrounding beaches

Byron Bay is a popular tourist destination located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The town has a population of about 12,000 people and is known for its beaches, surfing and other water sports.

The most famous landmark in Byron Bay is the lighthouse which stands 117 feet tall at its highest point; it was built in 1879 from stone quarried nearby. The lighthouse overlooks both Mount Warning (a dormant volcano) and Broken Head Nature Reserve which includes rainforest walks along white sand beaches with amazing views out over Dunk Island Marine Park where you can see whales during winter months or swim with dolphins if you're lucky!

Alice Springs

Alice Springs is a small town in the Northern Territory, Australia. It's a great base for exploring the MacDonnell Ranges and other natural wonders nearby. There are many places to stay and eat in Alice Springs. You can drive through the Todd River Gorge or visit Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock), which is an sacred Aboriginal place of worship that you can climb on top of!

Brisbane

Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland, Australia. It is located on Australia's east coast and has a population of 2 million people. Brisbane was founded in 1824 as a penal colony by Captain Arthur Phillip who named it after his friend Sir Thomas Brisbane (the then British Secretary of State for War). The city was built on land that was once occupied by Aboriginal peoples who were forcibly removed from their homes so that Europeans could settle there instead.

Brisbane has many attractions including parks and gardens such as Roma Street Parkland which features lush greenery with fountains, statues and ponds; South Bank Parklands where you can enjoy concerts or go for a stroll along the riverbank; Botanic Gardens boasting over 15 hectares (37 acres) worth of botanical collections including tropical flora along with sculptures made out of recycled materials such as glass bottles; South Bank Cultural precinct where you can visit museums such as Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery Of Modern Art (QAGOMA), Performing Arts Centre at South Bank plus more!

Melbourne

Melbourne is the capital of Victoria, and the second largest city in Australia. It's a vibrant multicultural city with many shopping and dining options, as well as its famous cafe culture. There are tons of things to do in Melbourne whether you're into art galleries or sports stadiums--but if those don't interest you then there are plenty more options!

Melbourne is home to some great museums such as The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) which houses over 100,000 works from around Australia and abroad including paintings by Charles Blackman and Sidney Nolan who were both born here."

The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is a 243km-long road in Victoria, Australia. It was built by returned soldiers from World War I and is one of the most scenic drives in the world. It's no wonder why it makes for such an amazing road trip!

The Great Ocean Road winds along Victoria's south coast from Torquay to Allansford, passing through some of Australia's most famous natural landmarks including The Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. If you're looking for an adventure that will take your breath away without leaving home: take this trip!
