El Pas de la Casa

El Pas de la Casa is a small town in the valley of Andorra. It's a good place to start your road trip around the country, because you can visit the church of Sant Esteve and see some interesting architecture. You may also want to visit the museum of Andorra and learn about its history or visit Les Escaldes, which is the second most important town in this country with impressive modern architecture. If you want to see thermal springs, then there are several options for you here!

You can visit the thermal baths in Escaldes-Engordany or visit one of the natural hot springs in Canillo. There are also plenty of hiking trails to explore. If you want more active holidays, then you should definitely go rafting in Andorra!

Andorra is a great place for a road trip and you'll definitely have fun here! So, pack your things and get ready to explore this country by car.

Les Escaldes

Les Escaldes is a town in the Pyrenees mountains. It's famous for its spa, Caldea, which was founded in 1988 and has become one of the most visited tourist centers in Andorra.

The mountain resort lies at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level and offers many possibilities for winter sports like skiing or snowboarding. In summertime you can hike through the green valleys with their waterfalls or take part in mountain bike tours through forests and pastures with breathtaking views over Les Escaldes village itself down into Spain.

In the center of Escaldes, you can find a beautiful Gothic church and the main square, which is surrounded by restaurants and bars. It also has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor one that's open all year round.

The town of Escaldes is a fantastic destination for families or couples looking for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. You can go hiking, mountain biking or swimming in the summertime and enjoy skiing or snowboarding during winter.

Encamp

Encamp is a good spot to stop for lunch, as there is a small supermarket and an excellent restaurant (La Vila). The town also has a church and town hall. You can go hiking in the surrounding mountains, which are known for their skiing and snowboarding.

The area around Encamp is home to many castles, including Castel Blanc and Castell de la Mota. There's also a museum dedicated to Andorra's history and culture (Museu d'Historia Natural), as well as other attractions like golf courses (Golf Club d'Encamp) or tennis courts (Club Tennis i Padel).

Encamp is a good place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet and unspoilt. The town itself has only about 2,000 inhabitants and is surrounded by mountains that are home to many different types of wildlife. It's also close to the Spanish border, making it easy for you to visit Spain (especially Andorra la Vella) or head into France.

Andorra la Vella

As you might have guessed, Andorra la Vella (the capital city) is located in the centre of Andorra. It has a population of about 7,000 people and it's small enough to walk around easily.

The city has many sights to see, including:

  • A cathedral (Santa Coloma)
  • A castle (Castell de la Batalla)
  • A medieval quarter called La Vila Vella (Old Town), which features narrow streets lined with old houses

The drive from Pas de La Casa to Andorra la Vella is easy and beautiful

The drive from Pas de La Casa to Andorra la Vella is easy and beautiful. The roads are narrow, but not too much so that you have to worry about your car getting scratched or dented. The scenery is gorgeous: mountains and forests on one side of the road with occasional views of valleys below; and fields full of sheep on the other side of the road (they're everywhere!).

The drive itself isn't a loop--you need to get back on yourself in order to return home--but this shouldn't deter you from taking it! One thing I love about traveling around Europe is that everything seems so small compared with America; even if there aren't many photo opportunities along this particular route, there are plenty others elsewhere throughout Andorra where you can stop for picturesque shots like these ones taken near Canillo.

Andorra is a beautiful country, with spectacular views and friendly people. If you're looking for a place to visit in Europe, this might be it!
